Anna Sławkowska-Rode

Professor and alumnus of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She received her diploma and taught at the Faculty of Interior Design of the AFA in Warsaw (1977-1993;1999-2019) where she ran an authorial design studio at all stages of education.

Fields of work: design and painting.

As a designer she has created a number of polish expositions at international fairs and has designed several graphic layouts for polish pavilions  including in Cologne, Frankfurt,  Cairo, Birmingham, London, Basel, Moscow, Zurich.

As a painter she has had many individual exhibitions including:

GTPS Gallery, Gdansk 2019; Hotel Intercontinental, Warsaw, 2010, 2009; Zapiecek Gallery, Warsaw, 1996, 2009; Academy of Fine Arts, Lodz, 2005; Polish Cultural Institute, London, 1998; Eastwick Art Gallery, Chicago ,1995,1997; Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, Sydney, 1993; PKO Gallery, Toronto, 1991.

as well as contributions to joint exhibitions including:

Connoisseur Gallery, London, 1998 ; Centro Dantesco, Ravenna ,1997; International Modern Art Expo Strasburg, 1996 ; The Palace of Arts of The Society of Friends of Fine Arts, Cracow, 1993; The Polish Museum of America, Chicago,1992; LA Art  Exchange “ Poland- New Art.”, Los Angeles,1988.

Her artworks are mostly in private collections in Poland and abroad
 ( Canada, USA , Great Britain, Germany).
